Sandcasting Class by Jacci Delaney- August 17th

Jacci Delaney: Cast on Castaway!

This class is the perfect excuse to take that half day off work that you’ve been wanting to do!

This class will focus on sandcasting. Students will bring in a variety of items (5-10) to choose from and press into sand. We will then be ball casting and ladling hot glass from our furnace into the sand to create glass replicas of the items. The class will take place on Wednesday August 17th from 2pm to approximately 8pm. Following the items annealing, some cold working techniques will also be covered during a demo on Friday August 19th and students may cold work their castings.  Students will make approximately 4 total castings. All Levels welcome.
