Kiln 2: Casting & Kiln Forming
In this class, we will cover kiln forming topics that focus on various mold making processes. This class will meet 5 times for 3 hours each class. The first class will be discussing the projects so students can be prepared with ideas and items to bring in for casting. Kilnforming processes that will be covered include: fiber blanket reliefs, plater silica molds, flower pot casting, and more.
Prerequisite Required: Must have taken Kiln 1 Series Course or have previous intensive kiln fusing experience. *A first experience kiln class (plate or jewelry class) does not count.
Classes will run Saturdays in September from 3-6pm.
Class dates are Sept. 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29.
