This juried exhibition represents the third installment of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers’ Hands of the Maker exhibitions and focuses on pushing the boundaries of the norm: the nontraditional and esthetic innovation of wearable and functional art. ISGB members were invited to submit finished wearable or functional pieces that speak with an avant-garde voice. As in previous installments of the exhibition, the audience is given a glimpse of the artistic process by viewing images of the artists’ hands at work.
We are happy to welcome artists from all over the world as part of this exhibition. This exhibition is also special because items purchased during the exhibition may be taken home with you before the show ends, if you want to give it as a holiday gift!
Hands of the Maker:III will be on display Nov.10th through Dec.30th. Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Thursdays 11am-6pm, Fridays 11am-7pm, & Saturdays 11am-4pm.
