  • Gallery Opening, Artist Talk, Glass Demo, & Live Music Friday!

    Gallery Opening
Join us this Friday from 6-8pm for the opening of Kit Paulson’s gallery exhibition, Exquisite Traceries. This show explores delicate detail and ornamented structure in flameworked borosilicate glass. Structures for viewing the world are framed delicately in the most fragile of materials. This idea and way of viewing the world are used as inspiration in Paulson’s exhibition.
Throughout the first half of the opening reception, Kit Paulson will be doing a flameworking demonstration showcasing her glass making techniques. Following her demonstration, Paulson will be giving an artist talk about her current body of work in the exhibition. In addition, the Tri-Village Dulcimers will be performing and providing live music throughout the event. Light refreshments will be provided.
Exquisite Traceries will be on display at Glass Axis’s Kennedy Galleries July 14th through August 26th.
