About Sam Drumgoole
Sam’s glass career began at the School of Arts in Rochester when he was 15 years old. After meeting Dale Chihuly, who served as an inspiration to focus more seriously on glasswork, he attended the Pilchuck Glass School for an entire summer. Sam moved to Seattle to work more closely alongside Dale in his production studio upon graduating high school. After 4 years of work in Washington, he moved back to New York to further his education at Alfred University. Sam is now living in Columbus, OH, working as a professional artist. He is also the co-owner of The Columbus Glass Art Center.
