Member Gift Shop: Participation

One of the many benefits to Glass Axis Membership is the opportunity to sell your artwork in our Member Gift Shop. We expect to sell over $25,000 annually in our Gift Shop. Let’s work together to make it a continued success!

More information will follow about drop off times and dates in the next two weeks, as well as info about our Curatorial Gallery. Here are the rules and regulations to help you prepare your work.

Each member is allowed up to $250 retail priced merchandise in the Gift Shop. For artists whose average retail price is above $125, they will be allowed to have up to 3 pieces of their work in the gift shop.
Once items sell, the artist will be contacted and solicited for more work.
Only current Members will be allowed to sell their work in the gift shop, unless they are part of an exhibition in the Curatorial Gallery or during a demonstration or other special event.
Gift Shop participation will be on a consignment basis. All work will be inventoried and consignment agreements will be signed and kept on file for all artists. Each artist will receive 60% of the final selling price paid out within four weeks of sale date.
Glass Axis provides credit card and check possessing, sales, merchandising and cleaning, promotions, and packaging of sold artwork.

Gift Shop Participants Calendar

Below is the Calendar of dates and times that artists may drop off work, change out work, and pick up payment. Prior to each Drop Off weekend, artists will be contacted via email if more work is requested. Because of limited staffing/training we ask the artists observe this calendar closely. Special arrangements can be made by contacting gallery@glassaxis.org calling during office hours. Gallery sales checks will be sent out on the Monday following each Drop Off weekend.
