Blown Glass Ornament

Colorful “Pulled” Glass Flowers – Discount for Multiple Flowers!
Use glass-working tools to shape the hot glass. Pick your colors and apply them to the glass; use tweezers to shape a bud, an opening flower, or a full bloom; then twist the stem, and voila! $50; Create additional flowers for $35 each.

Use glass-working tools to gather molten glass from the furnace, apply the colors you've chosen, and shape the glass to create your own paperweight. $75 for one paperweight. Create additional paperweights for $65 each.

Blown Glass Vessel Workshop
Use a variety of specialized glass-working tools to gather molten glass from the furnace, shape the glass in a mold, blow air into it, and create a hollow vessel. Enrollment is strictly limited (four students per class.) $125

Fusing: Special Effects with Dichroic Glass
This workshop introduces the special effects that are possible through kilnfusing the special metallic-coated glass called dichroic (two-color) glass. Students will create small pieces—pendants, buttons, earrings, coasters--as they learn basic techniques. $75 for 3 hours of instruction.

Introduction to Glass Beadmaking
This class introduces students to torchworking, the manipulation of colored glass rods, heated in the flame of a torch, to create beads of their own design. Students learn about and practice using the torchworking tools necessary for basic techniques. The instructor then anneals the work in a kiln and students later pick up their own unique works of art! $65 for 3 hours of instruction

First Experience Etching
Learn all the basics of sandblasting. We will show you a variety of techniques for masking areas of glass and frosting exposed areas to create beautiful etched glass designs. All materials are included and you will be certified to rent the equipment on your own after completing this class! Only $40 for a three-hour workshop.

Introduction to Stained Glass
This class introduces students to the techniques necessary to create a simple design using colored glass. The instructor demonstrates a variety of tools and skills, and carefully guides students as they complete their first stained glass project. $80 for 4 hours of instruction.

Stained Glass Night Light
Students will learn to construct a stained glass night light. We will provide all the parts necessary to have an illuminating night light including several pattern choices. Is it not better to light a night light than to curse the darkness? 4 hours for $80.

Introduction to Glass Mosaic
A great introduction to the wonderful world of mosaic! Students will affix glass pieces to a large tile, creating a wonderful gift or a personal treasure. $40 for 3 hours of instruction.

Mosaic Bistro Table
This is an advanced mosaic class. The students will be provided an iron table and will create the 14” diameter tabletop out of glass mosaics. After the class the student will have a beautiful table for display. 6 hours for $115.
